Hi, I’m Tamara! With eight years of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve found my home at The Brush and Blade, where I specialize in color and provide a full range of hair and makeup services. My journey has been diverse, from Insurance to healthcare, but my passion for beauty and artistry goes all the way to childhood. My 1st client was the boy who sat next to me in kindergarten. His mother didn’t appreciate the free service at the time. I started my official career assisting a Redken Artist and have since collaborated with Portrait Master winner Mitzi Starkweather Photography, bringing my styling expertise and my open personality to photoshoots, weddings, galas, and other special events. I strive to create a safe and welcoming place where everyone feels encouraged to express themselves. Being a mother has taught me the importance of patience and understanding. I believe in the power of honesty, storytelling, and connection, as sharing stories often leads to growth and healing. It’s important to me to create an environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and even requesting accommodations.
