Hello! I’m Dee Dee, the owner, and a stylist/barber at The Brush and Blade. I have worked here since 2013 and became the owner in 2023. Hair is my craft, but people are my passion. I love meeting new people and finding a way to make their hair best suit their needs. I specialize in barbering services but like to think of myself as a Jack of all trades. I was born and raised in Joplin and graduated from City Pointe Beauty Academy in 2012. In my downtime I enjoy finding creative new recipes to try and always love a good movie. I look forward to establishing meaningful connections with each guest and using hair as a tool to do that!
